About

Hi there, my name is Fiz.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer and entrepreneur with experience across the fashion, music, virtual reality, and software development industries. Currently, I work as a Senior UX/UI Designer at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where I focus on creating user-centric digital experiences. My role spans user research, journey mapping, prototyping, and design implementation. I’ve worked on numerous customer projects, crafting user personas, building user journeys, and designing both low- and high-fidelity wireframes. I also implement high-fidelity designs and design systems using low-code tools, CSS/SCSS for the web, and React Native styling for native applications.

Prior to Siemens, I’ve had the privilege of working with innovative companies such as Cyberdog, a UK cult fashion label, and Kitayah Music, a production company that bridges connections across the music industry. At Cyberdog, I contributed to the release of their Virtual Shopping experience, a VR replica of the iconic flagship Mothership store in Camden Market.

Academically, I hold a BA (Hons) in Information & Interface Design from the University of the Arts London and an MSc in User Experience Engineering from Goldsmiths, University of London. My research has focused on services that support neurodivergent users in navigating the digital world. My Master's thesis, Abstraction against Comprehension, explored how visual abstraction in interface design affects neurodivergent users.

I’m driven by a desire to address accessibility challenges and deliver thoughtful, inclusive design solutions. This motivation is reflected in my latest entrepreneurial project, Arti, an AI-powered communication tool that enhances sentence structure for non-verbal individuals, and the next major venture I’m building.

❤️ Some things I love: working with data 📊 and coding interactive webpages 👨🏻‍💻
